What areas can I use with my rental?
When you reserve your event, you have access to the grounds, porches, and two main levels of the Mansion. You may also use the lower level for staging purposes, but your guests will not be allowed on that level during the event.
How many guests can I have at
While the amount will vary depending on the different spaces used, the Mansion and grounds can easily accommodate up to 150 for an event that utilizes both inside and outside spaces. Our maximum limit is 250 guests. There is an additional charge for every guest over 150.
What is the largest space inside
The Formal Parlor provides the largest unified space within the Mansion for rentals. This space can be used for ceremonies, receptions, music, dance floors, and more. While the number varies, you can generally fit 50-60 people seated comfortably in the parlor.
When can we begin set-up?
Since we are open to the public until
5:00 p.m., it is important to stay mindful of our visitors' experience during set-up. Outside preparations can begin at 3:00 p.m. (tents may be installed earlier with special permission). You may move inside by 4:00 p.m. Special arrangements can sometimes be made for earlier set-up. We can close the mansion at 4:00 p.m. for an additional $200.00 fee. This will give you an additional hour for your setup and event.
Do you allow open flame?
Fire is our biggest concern. Due to fire safety concerns, we are not able to allow any flames on the property. We encourage the use of electric candles. This extends to smoking and the use of sparklers or other party options. Guests may smoke outside the gates of the property.
Can we serve alcohol?
Yes. A valid ABC permit is required.
Do you allow tents?
Yes! Our space easily accommodates several different sizes of tents. However, tents must not be staked, which can damage our irrigation system. There is an additional $100 tent fee.
Are rental companies required to
pick up their tables/chairs the night
of my event?
Not necessarily. As long as the property is clean and the tables/chairs are stacked neatly in the specified area, you do not have to have the rental company pick them up until the next morning. Same day, after hours pick up often require an additional fee. However, there may be certain circumstances where the rental company requires same day pick up.

Where do my guests park?
Our parking lot has more than 30 parking spaces. There is also plenty of parking in on-street spaces, open lots, and parking garages located within a short walk of the Mansion.
Do you allow photography if I am not renting the Mansion for an event?
Yes! We offer the Mansion for engagement and bridal portrait sessions for a small fee. Contact us to inquire about how to book your session.
Is there space for my wedding party to get dressed at the Mansion?
Yes! We offer the master suite to the bride and her bridal party to get dressed. Additional spaces can be used for other party members with special permission.
