ARE YOU INTERESTED IN WILMINGTON
HISTORY, HISTORIC ARCHITECTURE AND GARDENS?
PUT YOUR INTERESTS TO WORK WITH OUR ACTIVE VOLUNTEER PROGRAM.
The Bellamy Mansion, at 5th and Market Streets in historic downtown Wilmington, is one of North Carolina’s finest examples of antebellum architecture and tells the stories of Wilmington’s African-American, Civil War and local history through the lives of the men, women, and children who lived and worked on this site. The Bellamy Mansion Museum of History and Design Arts, a stewardship property of Preservation North Carolina, is open to public only because interested people, like you, volunteer at the museum.
The Bellamy Mansion Museum needs volunteer tour guides and hosts/hostesses to aid us in our mission. Follow our structured independent training program at your own pace and learn to lead tours or be a reception desk host. Morning and afternoon shifts are available, weekly or every other week. We offer continuing volunteer enrichment trainings throughout the year, plus an active volunteer social calendar. Please join our team of enthusiastic volunteers!
